Today I’m going to hand out some real advice on blogging.
Now I personally totally get how disappointing it is to put all your energy into coming up with a kick ass post and then receiving low engagement.
I figured I would post an article and give out some of my own advice after reading so much of others!
First up, I know first hand how much it sucks to get the advice – iT TAKES TIME. Which yes, it’s true but also I’ve been blogging for two years with slow growth. I get it, it sucks. But what turned my view was, the realisation I blog for ME. I am here because it’s my thing, I love having people read my content and I love having a record of my thoughts. If I go back through my posts I can read back on some pretty significant moments, and the feelings i had in the moment. These posts detail breakups, adventures, new and old friendships and so much more. So again, I’m here for ME. I think that’s key.

My final tip for now is, look at your locations! If 90% of your views are from the USA focus on scheduling posts that are most suited to their time. I generally post to UK time as they are my largest viewership. This works super well and helps for your post not to get lost in the sea of
